LORIOT means Love in Tsawana.

LORIOT is a messaging system based on Raspberry technology which sends an alert message to the farming community when an elephant is in the area.

The GoodPlanet Foundation was created and is chaired by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, renowned photojournalist, with the aim of raising public awareness on environmental issues and environmental protection. During two days, teams of programmers, designers and specialists in digitization, European students Paris, will ask their questions on the cohabitation's issue between humans and animals and the balances' preservation. The solution takes place to the farmers' benefits in the region around the Boteti River in Botswana and the NGO Elephants for Africa (EfA), our field partner. The solution answers at 4 themes : global design, low tech & visual language, dataviz & security, Innovation & marketing. In partnership with Esri France, Elephants for Africa, ON-X groupe, RR. With the support of Omega and Maif.
